Chiropractic SOT treatment

Chiropractic

Chiropractic treatment involves safe, often gentle, specific spinal manipulation to free joints in the spine or other areas of the body that are not moving properly. Apart from manipulation, chiropractors may use a variety of techniques including ice, heat, and exercise as well as advice about posture and lifestyle.

We also offer Sacro-Occipital Technique with Charles Robottom. Find out more about this technique here.

What happens in a Chiropractic appointment?

On your first visit to the clinic you will have a 1 hour initial consultation which includes your Chiropractor taking a full medical history and physical examination before presenting a report of findings to you. This includes diagnosis (if possible), an explanation of what treatment options are available that will best suit you and working with you to make a treatment plan. Treatment is also offered in your initial consultation if appropriate.

After your initial consultation, treatments are 30 minutes with the same Chiropractor. These appointments consist of treatment, exercises and advice about posture and lifestyle.

A 1 hour reassessment is required if you are an existing patient at Orchard Chiropractic Centre but have not visited for 1 year. This time is required to update your medical history and carry out any necessary examinations.
